Statement by Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR on the outcome of the 2nd DPRK-USA Summit
The Lao PDR highly values the efforts of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the United States of America (USA) in organising the second Summit between their two leaders on February 27-28, 2019, in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The Lao PDR also praises the government and people of Vietnam for their excellent hosting of the Summit, which has made an important contribution to the peace building process in the region and the world, despite the fact that no joint agreement was reached at the Summit.
